Congratulations to Waterford HS Senior Cheerleader Ashley Burdsall – She was selected as the 2018-2019 Connecticut HS Cheerleader of the Year. Ashley is the first Waterford cheerleader and 1st ECC cheerleader to receive this award. Ashley has cheered at WHS for 5 seasons. She was one of the 2018 Fall Cheer Captains, and is one of the 2019 Winter Competition Captains. Ashley is a 2018 ECC All-star and her team was selected as the 2018 ECC Division 2 Champions. On Saturday Feb 16th the team will look to defend their ECC title from a year ago.
