WATERFORD, CT –– Waterford Public Schools is pleased to announce the hiring of Shannon McGuckin as the next head boys swimming and diving coach at Waterford High School. Shannon will be taking over for Patrick Callan who resigned in late October. She has served as the assistant boys swimming and diving coach for the last 3 seasons. Although her primary responsibility during that time was focused on diving, Coach McGuckin is looking forward to working with the entire team and enhancing communication while continuing the team oriented and family atmosphere that currently exists. “We are pleased to welcome Shannon to head our boys swimming and diving program.
