Mental Health and Student Athletes

WHS Student-Athlete Mental Health

The Waterford athletic department is committed to supporting the mental well-being of our student-athletes. In short, mental health is a part of, not apart from, student-athlete health and is an integral part of the high school experience.

Guidance and resources are available to empower schools in their responsibility to provide for the mental health of student-athletes. Located on this page are resources provided pursuant to Public Act 21-46: An Act Concerning Social Equity and the Health, Safety and Education of Children.
