More Than Just a "Club"
Technically, WATERFORDrama is the drama club at Waterford High School. However, if you ask the students that are currently involved, or those that have been involved in WATERFORDrama over the past 12 years, they will tell you that it is much more than just a “club.”
WATERFORDrama is a “family” to many of the students involved. It is a fun and creative place where it is OK, and even encouraged, to be a little “wacky”, to express yourself and to let loose. When a person comes to see a WATERFORDrama production they do not see typical high school theatre. What they see is high quality entertainment featuring extremely talented actors as well as gorgeous sets, professional musicians, incredible costumes, wonderful lighting and professionally minded crew members working on all aspects of the show. They have an unforgettable theatre experience. Without a doubt, WATERFORDrama produces some of the greatest theatre in Southeastern CT (whether it be high school, professional or otherwise).
